put a ring on it

A visit to the mall has turned out to be exciting because of the weekend bazaar.

The good thing about it is that it showcased only locally made products ranging from clothing, jewelry, food, bags, shoes, etc. But what i was drawn to are the copper jewelries. They are unique, beautiful and cheap. The saleslady told me that copper has health benefits. She said that it improves blood circulation and reduce pain in joints for those with arthritis.

Although there are a lot of jewelries to chose from i opted to buy a simple ring. I am not really fond of rings with protruding stones as they get in the way whenever i would get something from my pocket or bag. Besides, a simpler one costs cheap too and this is the one i bought. I love it. If wearing it has some health benefits, then that’s a bonus.

There are also copper earrings which are all so cute. I love the one with the black bead on it. I think it’s a neutral color and could match any color of clothes. Failed to buy that one.

The next time they would show up in another mall event i’ll make sure to catch them early because i would love to buy an anklet which has gone out of stock today.

tagged S: Swarovski Crystals

Swarovski Crystals are man-made gems manufactured in Austria. In 1895 Daniel Swarovski discovered a formula for making beautiful and high quality lead glass crystals and Swarovski Crystals was founded. Since then, they have been making fashionable jewelries, charms, fashion accessories, figurines and more. These crystals are known to be as the diamond of the crystal world.

I’ve been lucky enough to own a set of  Swarovski baby penguins which was a gift from hubby many years ago. It includes a set of 3 baby penguins and a small pool of water made of crystal of course and a tiny certificate.

If you want to collect Swarovski Crystals, just be sure to buy it from authorized Swarovski Crystals dealers as there may be fake crystals that are sold as real Swarovski crystals.

If you’re an owner of a Swarovski Crystal collectibles or jewelry, you should avoid exposing them to water and/or chemicals. Only mild soap, water, and a soft cloth should be used for cleaning and polishing your crystals. Store them in its original packaging as much as possible.

Jade has been a favorite stone since the ancient times. It is regarded as a symbol of the beautiful, the good and the precious.

jade bracelet

Above photo of my jade bracelet has the 12 animals of the Chinese calendar. These animal signs are the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. It’s been with me for 10 years now.

Although i consider it one of my lucky charms, nothing beats the best JADE of my life. I already blogged about his works of art here as a little boy and here as a college student taking up aerospace engineering.
