a photo bomber

Clouds are one of my favorite subjects when taking photos. Formations only last seconds thus no two cloud photos are alike which even make it more interesting.

Did you notice that dragon like thing at the lower end of the photo? Well it is actually a TREE and a photo bomber. Kinda creepy isn’t it?

Looks like Ashton doesn’t approve of my photo at all, hahaha!

good morning sunshine

As i am typing this, i could hear the roll of thunder. Is it going to rain? Weather is so unpredictable these days. The sun is shining and yet dark clouds loom nearby and sometimes will just be blown away by strong wind. But on some days, a heavy downpour ensues.

Today’s weather is gloomy but i see the sun peeking out from the clouds.

My MORNING routine is chaotic (but in a nice and funny way). The kitties are following me everywhere i go… in the bathroom, while i am making my coffee, as i go back and forth to the fridge, while i prepare my morning toast… okay now, kitties first before my breakfast meal or sometimes doing it simultaneously… ahh they are fun, they are so cute as they beg to be fed, meowing in chorus and so demanding. “Right away please. What’s taking you so long mom?”

While all the kitties are having a rumble Boots is the only one who just sits and waits patiently on the table. Such a well-behaved sweetheart worthy of a thousand PRAISES. “Good morning mom. I just sits here and waits and just be cute..”

Happy weekend everyone … from all of us.

feeling hopeful

It’s a good morning. The kitties are hungry and waiting for me at my bedroom door. Well, all the kitties sleep downstairs and Star is the only one who sleeps with me. I guess it’s what you call “privilege” because Star used to be the only kitty in the house but now they are 5.

While feeding the other outside cats at the back of the house, i saw a nice cloud formation. I ran inside to take my cellphone but the CLOUDS drastically changed its shape and i wasn’t able to take good shots. Must be the strong wind up there. So instead i would like to share these photos i took when we visited our hometown.

Clear blue sky, lovely weather and nice view overlooking Laguna de Bay.

My province became a popular local tourist spot and bikers’ destination since the construction of wind turbines.

Wind turbine up ahead… Our trip to the province was so worth it as it’s the first time i have seen turbines this close.

Today is a brand new day… a new beginning and everyone is very hopeful for a better nation as the new President of the country has just been sworn into office. Thank you June and hello July.

For more good vibes, here’s a photo of Star with her #wokeuplikethis looks.

clear blue sky

We marvel at the scenic landscapes and the spectacular breathtaking formations that we see on this planet, but looking up there are also magnificent things that we could see and admire.

Yesterday while playing with my dog in my backyard, i looked up and was smitten by the clear blue sky. I was fascinated by the movement of the clouds looking so white and fluffy and how quickly they changed their shapes. And for that fleeting moment i was captivated.

20160509_095814aaaFor me, this looks like a running puppy.

20160509_100135aaa

The top part of the cloud on the left looks like a head of a tiger, or that of a dog. Can you see its fangs?

The right cloud resembles a head of a lion, hmm… maybe a dog (again?) wearing a hat with a feather and its mouth open…

Every living things on EARTH are interdependent on each other to survive. One single deed of protecting the environment no matter how simple or small it may seem would have a massive impact if done by a lot of people. This is our home. We are all responsible for keeping it clean, happy, healthy and a sustainable place to live in. And for as long as we do our share, we and the many generations to come will continue to enjoy the BEAUTY and the BOUNTY it has to offer.

a word a week photo challenge: angle

This is a photo of the entrance to an exclusive village that always fascinates me because of its unfinished-like look. I think it is inspired by Roman architecture because of its arches and classical columns. There is also a huge fountain in the center with large statues and giant planters adorning the pathway. At night, the structure is even more attractive and dramatic due to the changing colors of led lights outlining the structure.

The columns may appear slightly angled and tilted because the photo was taken while i’m in a moving car but they are constructed really straight in reality. My original intention is to take a photo of the cloud formation and i’m glad to have captured this photo at that precise moment.

a word a week photo challenge: worker

Took photos of this building when i noticed the window washers flatform hanging from its roof. What a dangerous and difficult job. I also noticed the amazing reflection of the sky and clouds on the building. The reflection is like a painting on a giant canvas.

a word a week photo challenge: clouds

What do you think resembles the cloud formation?

My daughter thinks the cloud formation looks like a puppy’s head and i think it does.

Here’s a shot from another angle with the cloud formation slowly fading away.
