These are some photos i took of my cattleya orchids in September 2012.
Strangely, they bloomed with a different kind of orchid flowers recently. Yes, these are the same set of orchid plants. The stem is very thin and long but quite sturdy as you could see in the photo below.
The flowers are smaller now and are pale pink in color as compared to its flowers before (1st and 2nd photos).

Orchids, oh my! Beautiful. It has been a very long time since I last saw cattleyas. I once tried to grow them – but did not succeed.
really? well they say that it’s difficult to grow them but i guess i just got lucky with mine.. i just water them regularly and that’s it..they bloom regularly.

I love orchids! These are gorgeous, Elizz! I haven’t had lucky to grow, I guess they like moisture, it probably too dry for orchids.
